NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, April 8, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. at the Colclough Building, City of Bishopville will hold a public hearing concerning to review program performance and accomplishments conducted under a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project known as CDBG Project #4-CI-22-002, WWTP Sewer Line Upgrade – Phase III, wherein the following activities were undertaken:

The project replaced 2,594 linear feet of existing 18” gravity sewer line with new 24” gravity sewer line, ten (10) 5’ diameter manholes and associated appurtenances. The project serves approximately 3,462 individuals with an estimated 1,855 LMI (low-to-moderate) individuals, which is 53% LMI of the total service area. The project was funded with $1,000,000.00 CDBG funds and $307,593.00 local match funds.

This public hearing and the matters to be discussed are subject to the provisions of the City of Bishopville’s Citizen Participation Plan, developed in anticipation of participation in the State of South Carolina’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, providing for the participation of the citizens of the City of Bishopville in the planning and implementation of community and economic development projects which will involve CDBG funds.
